Welcome to Cake Shotts!

We are a small bakery located in Dayton, Pennsylvania, specializing in custom wedding and 3D cakes for all occasions! We also offer cupcakes, cookies, gobs, cake pops, cake decorating classes and much more.

Cake Shotts began in 2008 when I started teaching cake classes at Michael’s Arts and Crafts store in Indiana. By teaching all the time it also improved my skills. Maybe a little bit backwards but it worked for me. By March 2010 I decided to take the leap and get my home kitchen inspected. Cake orders quickly took off and I added an addition to my house that we called the cake room. I made cakes out of my house until May 2014 when I moved my business to a small house closer to Smicksburg. We quickly outgrew that shop. In February of 2020 my business moved to the intersection of route 85 and 839 in the Rural Valley Area. We were open year round for walk-in business up until 2025. New for 2026 we will no longer be open year round for walk-ins. We will have scheduled days to be open posted around each holiday. Other times will be by order only and scheduled pick ups. This is how my business was for the first 10 years and I am looking forward to returning to this structure!
